Lasik eye surgery is more expensive in areas where the cost of living is more. To translate, a doctor in an expensive part of town will charge more than on in an area of average or moderate means. Is the more expensive doctor better? Probably not, so make sure you know his or her experience level and you know what you're getting for your hard-earned dollar.
